Built for Aotearoa New Zealand Teachers, By Educators Who Understand
We're on a mission to give teachers back their most valuable resource: time. Time to teach, time to connect with students, and time for what truly matters in education.
Our Mission
Every term, NZ teachers spend countless hours writing report comments. It's a necessary task, but one that takes precious time away from what teachers do best: educating and inspiring students.
We created NZ School Reports to solve this problem. Our AI-powered platform helps teachers generate high-quality, personalised report comments that meet Ministry of Education | Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga standards andTeaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand requirements - in a fraction of the time.
But we're not just about speed. We're about maintaining the quality and personalisation that every student deserves, while freeing up teachers to focus on the human elements of education that technology can never replace.

Our Story
The idea for NZ School Reports came from a simple observation: every term, teachers across Aotearoa New Zealand spend 20-40 hours writing report comments. That's up to a full working week spent on administrative tasks rather than teaching.
As educators ourselves, we knew there had to be a better way. We also knew that any solution would need to maintain the high standards that NZ teachers and parents expect. Generic, template-based comments wouldn't cut it.
That's when we turned to artificial intelligence - not to replace teachers' expertise and judgment, but to augment it. By training AI models specifically on Ministry of Education | Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga guidelines, Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand requirements, and best practices in educational feedback, we created a tool that could help teachers work smarter, not harder.
Today, we're proud to support NZ teachers with technology that respects their professional judgment while giving them back their most valuable resource: time.
